Silver, hallmarked '84' (sterling). 194 gr.
Dimensions: 116mm x 77mm.
Repousse and chased. Depicting the scene from the Gogol's famous story of "Taras Bulba", where old Ukrainian Cossack Taras Bulba is engaged in fist fighting with his own son. Descriptive illustration to the life of Ukrainian Cossacks in 1600's. A very scarce and interesting subject.
A bit worn due to moderate usage, still of the high collectable interest.
